Modules and Timeline
August 15: Fellowship Starts
Fellowship officially commences and fellows are welcomed on-board. Fellows receive detailed fellowship timelines, fellowship rules and regulations and standard fellowship code of conduct.
August: Program Research
Field-specific experts map career interests, expertise and goals of all fellows and work with them in shortlisting the right degree programs at some of the world's best institutions. Based on program selection, a testing plan and timeline is created for each fellow.
September: Profile Development
Using specially designed modules and a series of personalized mentoring sessions, experts work on developing a strong profile for all fellows and create an all-round development plan to make them college-ready.
Fellows shape their narratives, work on telling their stories better, work on application essays and statements of purpose and review transcripts and recommendations.
November: Launch Pad
Fellows receive final feedback and support in finalizing their applications and applying for scholarships. Fellows work on personalized plans to find ways to fund their college education.
December: Application Submission
All applying fellows submit their application. Non-applying fellows receive application support in their respective applying year.
January - June: Boarding Pass
Colleges make admissions offers to fellows. D2C works with all fellows in accepting offers, communicating with college administrations and picking the right program. Fellows receive mentoring and support in funding their college education in all possible ways.
Note: D2C Graduate Fellowship is open to undergraduates in all years along with young professionals whether or not they plan to apply to colleges this year. All fellows who are not applying this application cycle will receive complete application support and recommendation when they apply to colleges in coming years.
